storyboards

For my music video I created a series of storyboards of 16 pages and 63 shots. These will be very useful in helping me to film my video, I will have clear knowledge of what to shoot, wat angle, postiton etc, what sound, dialogue etc. I have put the time of each shot at what point it will come on the track and i have clearly drawn out what action will be happening along with an explanation.

A clear vision, with many of Goodwin's ideas already applied. Your flashback / narrative sequence provides us with excellent opportunity to vary camera angles, lengths and movement - on you storyboard, you seem to cover the whole thing in long shot. I would strongly suggest revising this, using over the shoulder and shot reverse shot CUs / MCUs with some ECUs to portray emotion - this will also provide contrast with your dance sequences, rightly filmed mostly in LS / MLS. Also, think carefully about the mise en scene for this narrative sequence. It should be consciously constructed to echo the lyrics of the song, or to create meaning in its own right.
